Pups for Adoption

An e-mail from Carol for pups that are looking for a home. Do spread the word.

There are these three adorable balls of fluff living on the roadside outside my office. I’m sure they would love to find homes rather than curl up on the pavement all night. So if anyone would like to adopt a stray, I’ll help get one/all of them across to you.

Their mother had a litter of six pups, all of them black and brown. Now only three remain. I’m not sure the mother is getting enough to eat and she doesn’t seem to take very good care of the pups. The people of the nearby chawl, who feed the dogs, have appealed to me to help and so I thought the web was the best place to reach out.

Every time one of the pups squeals, I believe it’s a plea for help.

I had picked it up 15 days back from the street, as it looked extreemly scared and hungry. Right now, it resides in my office. But it has become necessary to shift him elsewhere.

Bravo

Bravo, aptly named by our Project Manager, Pooja Mishra was rescued by WSD after a call received on our help-line for a kitten in distress.

Bravo's front left leg was mangled (probably due to an accident) and gangrenous. The leg had to be amputed but even before the surgery and afterwards, Bravo wants to hop around and be the feisty little self that he is.

Pups in Delhi for adoption

An e-mail received by WSD from animal lover Namrata Pahwa who resides in Delhi regarding five cute pups for adoption. They were amongst a litter of seven but Namrata has managed to find homes for two of them.


Namrata informs us that the mother, "Julie is real docile ....and hence I have faith that these pups shall turn out easy to train and foster." Do spread the word amongst your friends in Delhi,NOIDA and Gurgaon.

Rabbit time !

Attached are a few pictures of the puppy, who my brother has named 'Kalki'.

She is almost 3 months old, she's had her distemper & anti rabies shots and has a healthy appetite.

She's light brown in color and her coat is growing more lustrous as she grows.
She was found in the hills behind Tungerli village in Khandala and she refuses to be called a street dog or Pariah :),

So we call her a Tungerli breed.

Cutie looks for a home

Hii my name is aarti bhatia, i found this puppy out side my lift door 3 days back. It was clean but crying. I picked it up an tried to look around for an owner or a mother, but did not find anyone.
I took her home and bathed her, cleand her, gave her food and took her to a Vet,who de wormed her. She is suffering from NO problems or infections.She is a happy dog and clean dog.
I would have kept her but my building people have a problem with keeping dogs.





Please help me find a LOVING HOME for this pup. I do not want it to be killed or put to sleep because there is no home for her.
Please get back to me asap. its a bit urgent as my building people are harassing me.

Rocket

Rocket’s mother delivered at the WSD kennels, the next day after she was caught by the BMC. Rocket’s sibling was still born and we had to carry out an emergency operation on her. Rocket was brought up on First Age milk since he was seven days old. He is a now grown up to be sprightly lil boy and is looking for a good home. Bella is one year old and a terrier, she has been sterilized and given shots.She came into Aarti’s compound looking for food and was in a very bad shape as she was not able to survive on the road and still does not know how she has been adandoned by her people. Hi,I'm a 22 year old college student from Kolkata. I feed a number of stray dogs in our locality and have four cats in my house. My neighbours have recently started venting their ire on me and the dogs (sending anonymous letters, verbally abusing me and ultimately throwing out the six blind puppies from a safe shelter onto the main thoroughfare). I need at least four of the six puppies born to Elvis-Pelvis (the mother) adopted, preferably in pairs (as i cannot afford to feed so many dogs once they grow older) They are just a month old now and have started on solids. Description : He is Full white with a few brown patches near his tail. His half the face is brown and the other half is white. He is wearing a Red colour collar on him. A few people have said that they have seen Jerry some days back and since then I am desperately searching him in every nook and cranny.
