Abandoned pup requires a home

A female pup was found abandoned by a family at Versova. They just left her tied to a cycle in the building compound and went out of town. WSD volunteer Kunal Kocchar rescued her and took her home. He already has a male pup 'Bozo' and can't keep her.

So I went, hoping to reason with the abusers. They've happily gone out of town for two days leaving the pup chained to an old bike. She was aggressive with me at first, but after five minutes was all 'puppy-like', playful and sweet.The owner is going to give me her vaccination papers on Saturday. Hope something works out soon. My little house is full of action right now, as you can imagine, what with Bozo and this little pup.

Pups for Adoption

There are these three adorable balls of fluff living on the roadside outside my office. I’m sure they would love to find homes rather than curl up on the pavement all night. So if anyone would like to adopt a stray, I’ll help get one/all of them across to you.

Their mother had a litter of six pups, all of them black and brown. Now only three remain. I’m not sure the mother is getting enough to eat and she doesn’t seem to take very good care of the pups. The people of the nearby chawl, who feed the dogs, have appealed to me to help and so I thought the web was the best place to reach out.

Every time one of the pups squeals, I believe it’s a plea for help.

Please find attached a few pics of a 6 week old male pup. He is an extremely playful, happy and healthy pup.

I had picked it up 15 days back from the street, as it looked extreemly scared and hungry. Right now, it resides in my office. But it has become necessary to shift him elsewhere.

Chip needs a home. If you know of anyone who is interested in adopting him, please ask him/her to contact me.

Please do spread the word. Help me find a home for him... He doesn't deserve to be dropped back on the streets!

Bravo

Bravo, aptly named by our Project Manager, Pooja Mishra was rescued by WSD after a call received on our help-line for a kitten in distress.

Bravo's front left leg was mangled (probably due to an accident) and gangrenous. The leg had to be amputed but even before the surgery and afterwards, Bravo wants to hop around and be the feisty little self that he is.

Moti, the kitten looks for a home

We received an e-mail from Ms Ila Kaji....

"Moti needs a home.He is a 7 month old kitten.Has had all his vaccinations (rabies & cat virus) and has been trained to use a litter box.Also been sterilized. Very even-tempered and friendly.If there is anything you could do help him find a home, it would be much appreciated".

Pups in Delhi for adoption

An e-mail received by WSD from animal lover Namrata Pahwa who resides in Delhi regarding five cute pups for adoption. They were amongst a litter of seven but Namrata has managed to find homes for two of them.


Namrata informs us that the mother, "Julie is real docile ....and hence I have faith that these pups shall turn out easy to train and foster." Do spread the word amongst your friends in Delhi,NOIDA and Gurgaon.
