Rose was found by an animal lover in a local train at Kurla. She was sitting on the seat and surely could not have climbed onto the train or the seat on her own. She is very friendly and full of life and loves to keep discovering new things around which includes chewing on our three legged cat, Tripod's tail.

Dear All

A few days back, we found a very cute little puppy a few blocks from our street, shivering in the cold December chill of Aundh, Pune. It seemed to be crying, so first we thought it might be hungry and lost, but later realized that it was bleeding profusely. We took him home and next day got an amazing doctor, Aisha, to take care of his wounds and give him the required vaccines.

We have named this cute little miracle on four legs, Bholu [pictures attached]. Bholu's only mission in life seems to be, "Eat, play, love." He is really innocent and gets so happy every time he sees us. He is also very sharp and a quick learner. He is away from his mother, with complete strangers and in a new home. Despite this, he is always cheerful, frolicking and spreading his sweetness. Both of us travel extensively, sometimes for weeks and we are looking to see if we can find him a loving home.

Ved

This is the pup.. He is called as Ved right now, he doesn't really respond to the name but by the time he gets adopted he might so it would be preferred if the name sticks :)

Ved is about 1.5 months old, is fully black except for a small patch on his chest. Ved was at the SPCA hospital where he was treated for injuries and 2 weeks at Aditya's house where he still is.

He's too young and has been away from his area for a month now.

I found this little one on 26th July, in the middle of the road while travelling to Sakleshpur,Karnataka.. Early in the morning, all alone in heavy rains was gona hit by my car if it wasnt for my attentive driver.. Ever since she is been with me.. Had managed sneaking her in the hotel room as well.. Mili - the found one

This tiny pup was rescued on Friday night. When she arrived, she was in an absolutely terrified state. 2 days of TLC and she has recovered. She is adorable, with a beautiful coat of black and white and tiny pink paws. The vet confirmed that she is a month old Indian breed,and is very healthy. We've named her Mili - the found one.


We are looking for a good home for her. Anyone of you, who knows anyone who is looking to adopt a pup, please me know.

'Maya' jaal

Maya is a Labrador puppy living in a building alley in South Mumbai. She is around five months old. Though she is looked after well by her owners, we feel that she would be prone to ailments on the street because of her breed. Her owners have always kept strays and now realize that it would be better for her that she goes into a home.

Little Zeezu

She is about 5 or 6mths old now, house trained, and en route to being obedience trained.So far she is good with 'sit', 'lie down', still working on 'stay' and 'come' cos she gets distracted easily cos she is still a pup, and she has not quite got the knack of 'drop' when asked to dropped the ball in a game of throw and retrieve.

Also knows not to go in the kitchen or jump on furniture and doesn't chew chappels anymore either!!!She is extremely friendly and gets on well with other dogs. Ideally we'd like to find her a nice home with people who love dogs. She is not at all traffic savvy though, she has not figured out that cars can hurt, she is walked on the leash because she would run the risk of being hit by a car otherwise.

Abandoned pup requires a home

A female pup was found abandoned by a family at Versova. They just left her tied to a cycle in the building compound and went out of town. WSD volunteer Kunal Kocchar rescued her and took her home. He already has a male pup 'Bozo' and can't keep her.

So I went, hoping to reason with the abusers. They've happily gone out of town for two days leaving the pup chained to an old bike. She was aggressive with me at first, but after five minutes was all 'puppy-like', playful and sweet.The owner is going to give me her vaccination papers on Saturday. Hope something works out soon. My little house is full of action right now, as you can imagine, what with Bozo and this little pup.

Hii my name is aarti bhatia, i found this puppy out side my lift door 3 days back. It was clean but crying. I picked it up an tried to look around for an owner or a mother, but did not find anyone.
I took her home and bathed her, cleand her, gave her food and took her to a Vet,who de wormed her. She is suffering from NO problems or infections.She is a happy dog and clean dog.
I would have kept her but my building people have a problem with keeping dogs.





Please help me find a LOVING HOME for this pup. I do not want it to be killed or put to sleep because there is no home for her.

Rocket

Rocket’s mother delivered at the WSD kennels, the next day after she was caught by the BMC. Rocket’s sibling was still born and we had to carry out an emergency operation on her. Rocket was brought up on First Age milk since he was seven days old. He is a now grown up to be sprightly lil boy and is looking for a good home. Rescued by sixteen year old Aishwarya from Bandra's Carter Road, Fluffy is a very sweet creamish pup who is looking for a good home.
